The IACC’s events cradle the Italian American professional community, network its members and mobilize business activity.

 

Networking Events

The IACC holds regular networking events at restaurants and venues throughout Chicago. In addition to providing a comfortable environment to network with fellow business professionals, these events feature prominent keynote speakers.

 

Trade Missions

Each year, the IACC hosts multiple trade missions to and from Italy for members in various industry sectors.

 

Italian Expo

Since 2007, the IACC has organized and hosted this annual three-day event created to foster business relationships between Italy and the United States and to educate the public about authentic Italian culture. Over 150 exhibitors from varying industries display their products, while over 26,000 attendees enjoy fashion shows, cooking demonstrations, food and wine tastings and musical performances among other forms of entertainment (www.italianexpo.us).

 

Annual Gala and Awards Dinner

The IACC’s black-tie gala occurs each year to honor top Italian and Italian-American business professionals. More than 500 successful businessmen and women, delegates and representatives from both Italy and the United States attend this formal event.
Past honorary guests include Fiat and Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne in 2008 and both Academy Award Winner Earnest Borgnine and Chicago-born actor Dennis Farina in 2009.

Golf Outing

Every summer the IACC hosts a golf outing for members, creating both a day of entertainment and an easy atmosphere for meeting other business professionals.
 

Bocce Tournament

This year the IACC will re-establish the Bocce ball event, again entertaining members, creating another atmosphere for networking and sharing Italian culture.

Fundraising Event 

The IACC hosts an annual Christmas party benefiting the Cook Italy Educational Foundation (www.cookitaly.org).
