TRUE ITALIAN TASTE

True Italian Taste is an event produced in collaboration with Assocamerestero and financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation to promote and safeguard genuine Italian agri-food products in the United States, South America,Canada, Mexico, Europe, Asia and Australia. The project provides educational tours, workshops and seminars in Italy and a series of tasting events, training activities, master classes and events promoting authentic Italian products abroad.
Certifications like DOP (Denominazione di Origine Protetta, “Protected Designation of Origin”) and IGP (Indicazione Geografica Protetta "Protected Geographical Information”) for food producers and DOCG (Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita), DOC (Denominazione di Origine Controllata), and IGT (Indicazione Geografica Tipica) enforced by the European Union indicate that the product is truly produced where stated, ensuring quality and authenticity of the product. The great stars of True Italian Taste activities are Italian food and wines that directly speak of their history, local areas, traceability, the secrets of the meticulous care taken in production that improves the flavours and enhances their uniqueness.
