"Authentic Italian Table" 2021 Edition

We are pleased to invite you to the True Italian Taste project “The Authentic Italian Table “ 2021 Edition. The Authentic Italian Table aims to put a particular focus on certified products from two Italian regions: Sicily and Emilia Romagna.

The event is financed and promoted in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation to increase the knowledge and consumption of 100% Made in Italy products.

As part of the True Italian Taste project, these events will showcase “made in Italy” specialties, thanks to the contribution of the consortia for Parmigiano Reggiano DOP, Aceto Balsamico di Modena IGP, Prosciutto di Parma DOP, Oli dei Monti iblei DOP, Pecorino Siciliano DOP , Vini Toscani DOC, Vini dell’etna DOC and others.

Join us on the following nights to celebrate the Authentic Italian flavours in 5 selected Italian restaurants of Chicago:

  • First night: on June 7th at Elio Pizza on Fire

    Focus: Sicily

    Consortia: Consorzi per la tutela del Pistacchio verde di Bronte DOP, Olio dei Monti Iblei DOP, Pecorino Siciliano DOP and Vini Etna DOC (consortia for the protection of DOP Bronte green pistachio, DOP Monti Iblei olive oil, DOP Sicilian Pecorino and DOC Etna Wines).

  • Second night: on June 8th at Il Vicolo Trattoria

Focus: Sicily

Consortia: Consorzi per la tutela del Pistacchio verde di Bronte DOP, Olio dei Monti Iblei DOP, Pecorino Siciliano DOP and Vini Etna DOC (consortia for the protection of DOP Bronte green pistachio, DOP Monti Iblei olive oil, DOP Sicilian Pecorino and DOC Etna Wines).

Focus: Emilia Romagna

Consortia: Consorzi per la tutela del Parmigiano Reggiano DOP, Aceto Balsamico di Modena IGP, Prosciutto di Parma DOP (consortia for the protection of DOP Parmesan Cheese, IGP Balsamic Vinegard from Modena, DOP Parma Ham).
